The first trailer for the live-action of Beauty and the Beast came last week supplanting giants in views. The Disney adaptation now holds the most viewed trailer title in the first 24 hours. That title previously underwent Star Wars VIII: The Force Wake and Fifty darker tones.
The trailer garnered 127 million views totaling all the vehicles in which it was published. This mark passes the previous belonging to Fifty Shades Darker had 114 million views in one day. Before Fifty Shades, Star Wars: The Force Wake was the leader with 112 million views in this short period.
The video had almost 10 million views on Youtube, while 30 million came from Facebook. The teaser of the film had already debunked The Force Wake in May this year.
The feature is starring Emma Watson as Bella and Dan Stevens as Beast. The cast also features Ewan McGregor as Lumière, Ian McKellen as Horloge (Cogsworth), Emma Thompson as Madame Samovar (Mrs. Potts), Nathan Mack as Zip (Chip), Audra MacDonald as Wardrobe, Josh Gad as LeFou, Kevin Kline as Maurice, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Fifi (Plumette), Stanley Tucci as Cadenza, Hattie Morahan as Agatha and Luke Evans as Gaston.
